apply: No lower than 6 feet and no
higher than 12 feet.
Players may
only pitch 1 inning.
Any pitcher that starts an inning must finish the inning.
Any roster player may pitch in extra innings.
If the game is still tied after 1 extra inning a 10 pitch,

Nubbies on handle
may be taped, no tape will be allowed on the
barrel.
Batter may foul
off as many pitches as need be to stay alive
Batters should be
looking to MASH, not beg for underhanded tosses.
Centralville Rules
for scoring: “Must force all
runners in.” Example: A double DOES NOT score a man from 2nd
nor a man from 3rd.
Ground balls that
“hook” around the “infield” cones and go into foul territory are FAIR.
All Fly balls MUST
land in fair territory, no hooking around foul markers.
Fielding:
Game fields will be marked
with taped lines. Batted balls
must travel, in the air, over the marked lines to attain their value.
Fielders make outs by:
*Catching
a ball while it is in the air (fair or foul territory).
*Fielding
a ball that
touches the ground before the first marked line cleanly.
*Strikeouts
Double Plays may be completed by
fielding a fly ball, ground ball or line drive cleanly and throwing the ball in
one fluid motion and hitting the strike zone.
Bobbled balls or tipped balls that do not touch the ground
and are then fielded are an OUT.
Fielders must use College Football rules when making
plays. “One Foot In” Example: Robbed
homeruns must be caught with one
foot in the playing surface, touching the marked line counts as IN.
Any ball that crosses over the first line marker in the air
and touches the ground CANNOT be fielded as an out.
Any batted ball that touches a line marker in the air will
round down. Example: Balls that touch the
Home Run line will
be considered a double.
Batting gloves may not be worn in the field, only while
batting.
Balls cannot be caught or tampered with by clothing or hats. Example: A player cannot
reach over the
homerun line and catch knock a ball back into play with his/her hat, only hand.
